Year I joined Baylor Admissions: 2015
Hometown: Taylor, Texas
Favorite thing about Baylor: The traditions like SING, Homecoming, the Baylor Line, and Dr. Pepper Hour really set Baylor apart and give students and alumni the chance to celebrate their Baylor pride.
Favorite place in Waco: Tony DeMaria’s Bar-B-Que. I typically visit Tony’s once every two weeks for some great local barbecue. They have my order memorized from being a regular!
What inspires me: I am a very self-motivated individual. I set high standards for myself and am inspired to do my best at all times.
Favorite hobbies: Playing and watching basketball, collecting sneakers, reading, music, and travel.
Fun facts about me: I have a corgi named Hopkins. I am a “sneakerhead” and collect Funko Pops. I am a 5 on the Enneagram. I dressed up as the Cookie Monster as a freshman for men’s basketball games since one of the players was nicknamed the “Cookie Monster.”
My advice to you: Take the time to reflect on what you are looking for in your future college home. Understanding what you want will help as you look at different universities and consider all they have to offer.
