Favorite thing about Baylor: I played basketball for 13 years growing up. As a result, I often attended events in the Ferrell Center, including many Baylor basketball games. I’ve always enjoyed cheering on the Baylor Bears and being engulfed in a sea of fans wearing green and gold. One year, I even got to see the Harlem Globetrotters perform in the arena! That’s a memory I will never forget!
Favorite place in Waco: My go-to restaurant in Waco is The Catch! If you’re a southern seafood lover like myself, you must try their delicious fried catfish and shrimp. They also have the BEST cocktail sauce; I always double up on their cocktail sauce!
What inspires me: Through all my life experiences, I have always trusted and leaned on my faith and love for Jesus Christ. He has sustained and guided me through this crazy thing we call life. High-Five Jesus! Also, without my family, I would not be who or where I am today. My family are not only my biggest supporters but my motivators. They encourage me to be my best and always strive for success.
Favorite hobbies: A few of my favorite hobbies include video filming and editing for my YouTube Channel, game nights with friends, and creating funny TikToks with my sister!
Fun facts about me: I auditioned to be on Disney Channel when I was 10 years old! I always said they should’ve picked me, but honestly, that experience led me to where I am today. If they had picked me, I might not have landed here at Baylor and gotten to meet all of you beautiful people!
My advice to you: Find the university that feels like home. Then, when you get to your freshman year, be willing to step out of your comfort zone while exploring your interest within your major and beyond. You’re bound to find what your true passions are! Also, be willing to interact and build connections with people from different cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Connecting with others can build tolerance and understanding of other cultures. Lastly, come to college with the drive and determination to obtain your degree. The insurmountable joy you feel when graduation arrives is an experience worthwhile!
