Next Steps After Acceptance

Print this and check off your list! goBAYLOR has all the details but this is a great starting point.

Entering in the spring? Click here for your next steps.

YOU'RE ACCEPTED! Now what?

To be considered for the maximum amount of financial aid, you must submit both the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the CSS Profile. The CSS Profile opens on October 1 and should be submitted by the deadline below that matches your chosen admission plan. The FAFSA will open December 2023, and should be completed as soon as possible to receive your financial aid nitification. Check the FAFSA website for updates through December 2023. Submitting these applications early allows you to be considered for the most available funds.

  • Freshman Early Decision and Early Action CSS Profile Priority Deadline: November 1
  • Final Deadline to submit the CSS Profile for all Freshman Admission Plans: February 1
  • Priority Deadline to submit the FAFSA for all Freshman Admission Plans: March 1

If you miss the final deadline, please submit an application as soon as possible to be considered for any remaining funds.

  • If interested, apply to the Elite Academic Opportunities like the Honors College, Business Fellows, Science Research Fellows.
  • College Transcript/dual credit evaluation – If you have already earned college hours, request your current transcript to be sent for evaluation. Spring grades can be sent at a later date.
  • Remember: If you're an Early Decision applicant, you must withdraw from other colleges per your signed Early Decision Agreement.

Next, pay your deposit!
