Endowed Scholarships
Baylor offers a substantial number of endowed need-based scholarships. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) serves as the application for these scholarships. Award amounts vary based on an evaluation of the student's need and merit. Renewal of these scholarships is contingent on the student maintaining financial need, full-time undergraduate enrollment status, and a minimum 2.5 cumulative Baylor GPA. Baylor Sibling Scholarship
Baylor awards Sibling Scholarships of $3,000 to selected eligible undergraduate students who have one or more dependent siblings concurrently enrolled at Baylor, with at least one sibling being an incoming freshman. Funding is limited. To be considered, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need. Each sibling must be admitted to and subsequently enrolled at Baylor.
The Sibling Scholarship application will be available through Scholarship Universe beginning in early September, with a priority deadline of February 1. Current Baylor students who have a sibling entering Baylor as an incoming freshman for the upcoming academic year are eligible to apply. If both siblings are incoming freshmen, an application may be submitted once at least one sibling has been admitted to Baylor and is able to access Scholarship Universe. Eligible applicants will be considered for an award based on available funding, full-time enrollment, cumulative GPA, and need assessment.
Renewal of the Sibling Scholarship is contingent upon the siblings maintaining financial need, full-time undergraduate enrollment, and a minimum 2.5 cumulative Baylor GPA. Renewal eligibility ends when fewer than two siblings remain enrolled as undergraduate students at Baylor.
Bear Book Scholarship
The Paul L. Foster Success Center and First in Line, through the generosity of parent and alumni donors, established the Bear Book Scholarship to assist new and continuing students with purchasing textbooks for the spring 2025 semester. The one-time maximum award is $350. To apply, simply complete the Bear Book Scholarship Application. All students are welcome to apply and will be notified by August 1st of the status of their application.
