Financial Assistance for International Students
Scholarship programs are special opportunities to receive additional awards to Baylor in varying amounts. These are also great opportunities to come to our award-winning campus to interact with faculty, staff, and learn more about the exciting opportunities Baylor offers. First-time undergraduate international students should consider the following options as they look to finance their Baylor education.
Merit-Based Scholarships
Admitted first-time international students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships based on a complete review of their high school academic performance.
Need Based Aid
For international students to be considered for need-based financial aid, you must submit the CSS Profile (Baylor's CSS Profile code is 6032).
We highly encourage students to complete the CSS Profile submission by the priority deadline (Nov. 1) or by the Feb.1 regular deadline.
*Though submission of the CSS Profile does not guarantee Baylor will meet full demonstrated financial need, admitted students will be reviewed for need-based scholarships upon receipt of the CSS Profile.
International Student Scholarship
If you are an admitted first-year or transfer undergraduate international student, you can apply for the International Student Scholarship. To be considered, please submit these items by May 1:
- Complete the Baylor International Student Scholarship application form available through your goBAYLOR account after you've been accepted.
- Complete the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE. If you completed this step during the admission process, Baylor will use the submitted profile when reviewing scholarship eligibility.
Work-Study
If your status allows you to work in the U.S., you are eligible for on-campus work-study jobs. These positions usually pay competitive wages for up to 20 hours per week. For more information, visit our Student Employment website, explore Work-Study details, or contact One Stop to learn more.
Loans
Private student loans that require a U.S. citizen as a co-signer may be an additional resource.
