Financial Assistance for International Students

Scholarship programs are special opportunities to receive additional awards to Baylor in varying amounts. These are also great opportunities to visit our award-winning campus, interact with faculty and staff, and learn more about the exciting opportunities Baylor offers. First-time undergraduate international students should consider the following options as they look to finance their Baylor education.

Merit-Based Scholarships

Admitted first-time international students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships based on a complete review of their high school academic performance.

Need-Based Aid

If you are entering Baylor in Spring or Summer 2026, you will need to complete the CSS Profile* for financial aid consideration (Baylor's CSS Profile code is 6032). 

Starting with our Fall 2027 class, there's a new option: International students who are not eligible for FAFSA may still qualify for institutional financial aid through the Baylor International Financial Aid Application (BIFAA). Applications open October 1. Submit by November 1 for priority consideration, with a final deadline of February 1. Applying early gives you the best chance at funding. It only takes a few minutes, and it could make a real difference in how you pay for Baylor. Find the BIFAA on your "Financial Aid" tab in goBAYLOR and get started! 

*Though submission of the CSS Profile does not guarantee Baylor will meet full demonstrated financial need, admitted students will be reviewed for need-based scholarships upon receipt of the CSS Profile.

Work-Study

If your status allows you to work in the U.S., you are eligible for on-campus work-study jobs. These positions usually pay competitive wages for up to 20 hours per week. For more information, visit our Student Employment website, explore Work-Study details, or contact One Stop to learn more. 

Loans

Private student loans that require a U.S. citizen as a co-signer may be an additional resource.
