Self-Reported Academic Record
With the Self-Reported Academic Record or SRAR, you’re able to self-report your academic information, including coursework and grades, which will allow Baylor Admissions to process your application more holistically. The SRAR is free, so there is no additional cost to utilize this tool. While it is not required, it is highly encouraged for you to complete SRAR as part of the admissions process.
Why SRAR?
SRAR allows you to start your academic record earlier (even before your senior year) by linking it to your application before submitting your transcript. If you’ve already completed SRAR, it’s easy to link to your Baylor application. SRAR gives Baylor Admissions the ability to look at your application more holistically.
It also allows Baylor to review individual coursework to get a better understanding and greater context of your GPA in each course. This is helpful for reviewing your eligibility for specific Baylor program requirements.
Who should submit SRAR?
If you are currently attending a U.S. high school, regardless of your citizenship status, it is recommended you complete SRAR. You should not submit the SRAR if:
- You obtained your GED
- You are applying as a transfer student
- You are an international student graduating from a school outside of the U.S.
How do I submit SRAR when applying?
The Baylor SRAR is separate from your admissions application, so you will need to link it to your application. Once you have activated your goBAYLOR account, you will see a button in your account that will easily link your SRAR to your Baylor application. If you started your SRAR before your senior year, use the same SRAR login when linking to your goBAYLOR account.
What should be included on SRAR?
When completing the SRAR, you should make sure the information you enter matches your high school transcript, so we recommend having a copy of your transcript available. Here are some helpful tips for filling it out:
- Include all courses completed from grades 9-11 (at least 6 semesters)
- If your school uses semester grades, include those. However, if your school only lists final grades, then enter those
- Be sure to highlight AP, IB and Honors courses
What if I need help with SRAR?
If you have any issues with submitting your SRAR, please reach out to your Admissions Counselor. You may also find the answers to your questions in the SRAR Support website.
Are you a High School Junior or below?
You can still fill out your SRAR early, and then select Baylor and save for later when you’re ready to apply as a high school senior.
