Virtual Field Experience with Dr. Cole Matson
When faced with the challenge of teaching a highly experiential environmental science course in a virtual world, Dr. Cole Matson brought the field to the students. Using GoPros and other technology, Dr. Matson waded in and explained the ecosystems, placed tools and devices fitted with cameras into the streams and rivers and gave students a real-time view of the techniques and concepts they needed.

BIC and Your Major
The Baylor Interdisciplinary Core (BIC) is one of the programs in the Honors College at Baylor University. It provides an alternative way for students to explore Baylor's core curriculum. Instead of taking the University's traditional general education requirements (separate classes in English, history, religion, philosophy, and political science, for example) BIC students learn about these subjects by taking a challenging and integrated curriculum.
