Verto Bears
Verto Bears is an invite-only program. By participating in Verto Bears, students will have the opportunity to study abroad with other first-year students before starting classes on our campus in Waco, Texas.
What is the Verto Bears Program?
Verto Bears is an invite-only study abroad program through Verto Education in partnership with Baylor and is a fully transferable, globally-focused program designed to help you achieve an enriched first year of college and prepare you for success in an increasingly global marketplace.
This unique international academic and co-curricular experience is designed to ensure a seamless transition from studying abroad to starting classes on Baylor’s campus. Students can choose between a semester-long or year-long program. To maintain your offer for admission to Baylor University and ensure a successful transition after your time abroad with Verto Bears, you will need to earn a 2.75 GPA, earn at least 24 credit hours and have a record clear of disciplinary issues.
Our partnership with Verto Education is a natural extension of Baylor’s long-standing commitment to preparing students for success in an increasingly global marketplace. When you participate in Verto Bears, you will set yourself up to be on track to graduate from Baylor on time.
