This tour group can show you around Waco in new and exciting ways! Sign up for a Brazos River Boat Adventure Tour and learn about Waco’s past and present along the beautiful and historic Brazos River. The boat tour will take you past some unique landmarks and nature of the Waco area. There are two tour times: one in the morning and one at sunset. Brazos Tours Waco is also home to the original and Fixer Upper Tour in Waco! These guided tours offer an immersive experience into the Gaines’ world, showcasing the iconic homes and landmarks that brought fame to the show.

The Dr Pepper Museum is dedicated to the nation’s oldest major soft drink — Dr Pepper! With three floors of exhibits featuring information about many different soft drinks and a curated selection of soft drink memorabilia, you’re sure to leave the museum with a fountain of soda knowledge. Alongside general admission, this museum offers five reservable experiences, including the “Make-A-Soda Experience” and the “Paranormal Experience.”

The Mayborn Museum Complex features a natural science and cultural history museum focused on Central Texas with many walk-in dioramas and hands-on activities. Traveling exhibits set up shop at the Mayborn and stay for several months at a time. This is a perfect place to visit if you’re bringing younger friends and family members on your trip to Waco!

The Waco Mammoth National Monument is a paleontological site and museum where the fossils of 24 Columbian mammoths were discovered. Declared a National Park in 2015, guided tours of the property are conducted every 30 minutes, no reservations needed. Check out the Dig Shelter, where the mammoth fossils are still in their original positions within the bone bed.
