Business Administration
Students interested in studying Business without pursuing a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) have the option of minoring in Business Administration. To minor in Business Administration, students must complete 18 hours of study within the Hankamer School of Business. Students wanting to gain a basic foundation in the principles of business might choose this minor.
Most degree programs at Baylor do not require a student to select a minor area of study, but students may choose to minor in a field that supplements their major or may choose to pursue an area of academic interest completely outside their major. For example, a Studio Art major may choose to minor in Business Administration to learn basic business principles before opening an art-based business.
The six courses required to minor in Business Administration include Starting and Managing a Business, Survey of Accounting and Marketing Concepts.
