German
The German major enables students to become fluent in written and spoken German. German is spoken throughout all Europe. Knowing German can enhance your career opportunities, especially in the areas of international business, foreign service, international transportation, communication and finance. In addition, German is particularly useful if you plan to study theology, music, psychology, philosophy, history or any of the natural sciences. Available courses include:

Study Abroad is recommended for all foreign language and international majors. The German program offers several study abroad opportunities. These include summer, semester and exchange programs.
Baylor also offers several Living-Learning Centers, which are housing opportunities designed to place students of common interests together. The Baylor and Beyond Living-Learning Center is a residential option available for all majors and classifications, but it is ideal for students interested in language, culture, and engaging the world around them.
