Prepare to lead in the global marketplace! The International Business (INTB) second major is designed for students who want to understand how companies operate across borders and cultures. International business specialists often earn higher salaries and have more opportunities for travel, cross-cultural engagement, and careers with global organizations. The INTB major coursework is carefully designed to prepare students for positions of leadership in a dynamic environment of global production, exchange, information and finance. INTB students are welcome to join the International Business Student Organization. The IBSO is a community that includes peers from many countries and promotes networking events, corporate visits, and guest speaker sessions. It also organizes academic and social activities that help students build cross-cultural competencies.
The career paths for INTB students are very promising and diverse. An International Business second major complements functional business training and prepares students for careers in global supply chain operations, consulting, financial analysis, banking, global marketing, trade compliance, and government and multilateral agencies.
