Nonprofit Leadership

If you’re interested in working in mission-driven organizations or feel a calling to leadership, you should consider a minor in Nonprofit Leadership. The Nonprofit Leadership minor is available to all students from all academic disciplines. This minor consists of 15 hours, and at least 9 of these hours must be at a "3000" or "4000" level. Students must take SWO 4314: Organizational Leadership and Management, and SWO 4322: Social Policy for Social Work Practice. These and other courses prepare students to participate in managerial functions in public, nonprofit, and faith-based human service organizations.
