Recreation & Leisure Services
The Recreation and Leisure Services offers the business and programming classes needed for all leisure service careers, and provides the foundation for almost any recreation field. Available concentrations include:
- Community Sport
- Outdoor Recreation
- Recreation Ministry
All Recreation students must complete a full-time Through partnerships with leading organizations in recreation, outdoor and nature-based programs, nonprofit youth organizations, camps, university recreation, federal agencies, and industry leaders, students gain meaningful, career-aligned experiences that prepare them for success in the field and expose them to the diverse career paths available within recreation and leisure services.
Baylor offers an Outdoor Adventure Living-Learning Center , which is well-suited for Recreation and Leisure Services majors. Living-Learning Centers are housing opportunities designed to place students of common interests together.
