Recreation Ministry
The Recreation Ministry minor requires students to complete 18 hours of study. Students will take both Religion and Recreation and Leisure Services courses, so this program is perfect for ministry students who are interested in recreation.
Most degree programs at Baylor do not require a student to select a minor area of study. Students may choose to minor in a field that complements their major. Or, they may choose to pursue an areas of academic interest completely outside their major. For example, a student majoring in Athletic Training with a desire to be involved in ministry may choose to minor in Recreation Ministry.
Courses a student might take include:
- Theory and Practice of Outdoor Adventure Programs
- Principles of Church Recreation
- Introduction to Ministry
