Favorite thing about Baylor: My favorite thing about Baylor is all of our wonderful traditions. Baylor was founded in 1845, which means we have longstanding traditions that envelope the entire Baylor family.
Favorite place in Waco: Cameron Park! It is a great piece of green space in Waco. There are so many outdoor activities you can do like hiking, biking, kayaking, and enjoying the zoo.
What inspires me: I’m inspired by caring for others. I believe that everyone needs help every now and then, and it is beautiful when a group of people can come together to accomplish a goal.
Favorite hobbies: I really enjoy going to the movies. I enjoy the total experience of looking for show times, buying the tickets, popcorn and snacks, then settling in as the lights go dim to watch the show. Movies can definitely transport you into the story. I feel the same about reading books. Usually when I find a book I absolutely love, I find it hard to put it down! I also really enjoy working on crafts with my Cricut. I can spend hours working on different projects!
Fun facts about me: I was introduced to the Admissions world by working as a Telecounselor as a student at Baylor, and I have loved it since! I am an only child, but I have a large family. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. My husband and I are proud fur-parents to our 4 year-old Whippet Mix Ginger and 5-year old Lab Mix Harley!
My advice to you: Test early and test multiple times! It is important to allow yourself multiple chances to achieve the highest score possible.
