Apparel Studies
The Apparel Studies program at Baylor University provides a foundation in consumer behavior, global sourcing and supply chains, trends, sustainability, design, and textiles, while building technical skills in apparel software, pattern development, garment construction, and quality evaluation. Student learning is supported by experiential learning through internships, study abroad and market visits, studio-based projects, and community engagement.
The Apparel Studies program prepares students for diverse industry roles through two specialized concentrations:
Apparel Studies students have access to state-of-the-art apparel software, equipment, and technology through the Parker Design and Technology Center. In addition, students have the opportunity to study abroad through an immersive learning experience in major European fashion capitals such as London, Paris, and Florence and Milan.
