Arabic

The Arabic minor requires students to complete 18 hours of study. The minor can include language courses as well as courses highlighting Middle East politics and culture. Students often take Arabic to fulfill their foreign language requirement and then decide to continue into a minor to become more proficient.

Courses include:

• Elementary Spoken/Modern Standard Arabic
• Advanced Arabic Grammar
• Media and Popular Culture in the Arabic-Speaking World
