Education Concentration for Biology Majors

The Education Concentration for Biology Majors is a minor that leads to a secondary grade level certification (grades 7-12). This minor requires students to complete 31 hours of study including 27 hours of upper-level courses. This program is for students who want to teach Biology at the Secondary Level, but want to major in Biology instead of Secondary Education.

Required courses for this minor include Teaching Associate in Secondary School, Secondary Science Practicum and a Teaching Internship, among others.
