Performance
The Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in Performance is a professional degree that prepares students for a career performing in various settings, including solo, chamber music, and large ensembles, as well as teaching, at the university level. Often students who have earned this degree craft an entrepreneurial mix of these and other artistic endeavors throughout their careers. Concentrations include:
- Piano
- Voice
- Organ
- Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, and Saxophone
- Percussion
- Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Tuba, and Euphonium
- Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, and Harp
All students desiring to pursue a Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music Education or Bachelor of Arts in Music degree must audition.
Graduates have attended top graduate universities and conservatories. They have also found careers in professional symphony orchestras and opera houses nationwide.
