Science Research Fellows
Science Research Fellows is a one-of-a-kind interdisciplinary major (BS) that provides students with an academic foundation for successful research careers in:
- Earth Science
- Environmental Science
This flexible major prepares students to immerse themselves in research on their favorite science field early on in their studies while giving them the freedom to explore other fields of study. They receive individualized mentorship and guidance to make their career goals a reality. Fellows students are given guaranteed research opportunities throughout their academic career at Baylor. As a sophomore, students are required to join a research lab and continue for at least 2 years. In addition, the coursework is ideal for students who want to focus on a particular area of study for a PhD.
This selective major admits only 10 positions each year, allowing for small class sizes and more personalized attention from professors and faculty.
