Favorite Thing About Baylor: There's so many meaningful connections to make at Baylor. Whether they be in your major, your organizations, or even just the people around you, there are just so many people to meet and get to be a part of your life! Baylor will have plenty of opportunities for you to find yourself and your people.

Favorite Place in Waco: Hmm, as a regional in Houston, I don't get to get up to Waco as much as I'd like to, but the Armstrong Browning Library is always a must-stop whenever I'm in town. All the stained glass and historic architecture is a favorite for my wife and I! Outside of Baylor, I love checking out the newest food places and supporting all of the small, family-owned businesses that seem to pop up every couple of months!

What Inspires Me: As a first-generation student and the son of two immigrants, making applying to college more accessible and less of a scary, unattainable object is something that continues to excite me 5 years into the job! Talking about the process with students and families who have never even thought of college until now, or maybe even if it's a family that's four generations deep of Baylor Bears and can teach me things about Baylor, every conversation is a fun one that gives me great joy and fulfillment.

Favorite Hobbies: Pretty much all of the sports (always a plus if Baylor is involved)! Soccer/Futbol has always been a favorite of mine since I grew up playing it until college, so I will be up for those Premier League mornings, but you'll also likely see me at a Houston Dynamo game or two when I brave the drive to downtown. I also love getting out to movies and getting to log more stuff on my Letterboxd!

Fun Facts About Me: I was in the Golden Wave Band, Courtside Players, and Concert Jazz Bands during my time at Baylor, so I had the opportunity to still be a part of all the musical things I loved while still majoring in Biology. The athletic bands in particular let me travel the country for various Baylor teams and the postseason tournaments they were in. I highly recommend getting involved in something outside your major too!

My Advice to You: Finish stuff early and never forget it's supposed to be fun! The earlier you can finish a majority of your application, the more time you have to enjoy your last year of high school with your friends. Plus, you know, it makes my life easier too when everything is in early! Lastly, make sure to not only enjoy your senior year, but also the whole college search process. Find the place that's best not only for your family, but for you as well!
