Year I joined Baylor Admissions: 2023
Hometown: Kandern, Germany
Favorite thing about Baylor: I love the strength and genuine warmth of the Baylor community. When I came to Baylor as an international student, I had no idea what to expect. Almost immediately, I made such great connections and friends. I found my community through church and in SING Alliance. I love that Baylor is a place for everyone!
Favorite place in Waco: Downtown Waco! I love all the little shops and places to study or grab coffee with friends. I feel grateful to live in such a beautiful city that is continually growing and continually has new things to offer.
What inspires me: I am inspired by the beauty of God's world and creation, the infinite diversity within the cultures of the world, and the unlimited number of unique art forms that express core, shared human experiences.
Favorite hobbies: I love painting, drawing, reading Russian literature, and trying new things!
Fun facts about me: A fun fact about me is that I was a Fulbright Scholar and for my grant, I taught English for ten months in Azerbaijan!
My advice to you: Don't be afraid to ask questions! As Admission Counselors, we are your biggest advocates and we want to help families and students not only determine if Baylor is the best fit for you, but to help you best navigate the general college process.
