Favorite thing about Baylor: Baylor is a truly special place for international students! I love that the faculty and staff members are very supportive of international students and always willing to dedicate time to hear your stories and want to see you succeed in college.
Favorite place in Waco: Pivovar, For Keeps Coffee & Bakery, Cha Community, Saffron, and Chopsticks.
What inspires me: Meeting people from different backgrounds always inspires me because you will find that in this world of greater polarization, we are actually far more similar than different.
Favorite hobbies: I enjoy reading, traveling, photography, dancing, calligraphy, K-pop music, and spending quality time with my family.
Fun facts about me: I am proud Baylor alum and one of the highlights from the year I graduated from Baylor was my book entitled, My U.S. Study Journal 《学姐的留美笔记》published by the University of Science and Technology of China. The book talked about what life is like for a typical international student studying in the U.S. The chapter covered the landscape of American higher education, campus activities, academic curriculum, and cross-cultural issues, etc.
My advice to you: International students, please apply early! And do not afraid or hesitate to ask any questions because as admissions counselors, we are happy to serve you and guide you through your college application process. College is a beautiful journey!
