Favorite Thing About Baylor: The Baylor Family! From the traditions we share to the strong sense of community on campus and beyond, Baylor truly feels like home. It's a place where people genuinely care about one another. Faculty and staff take the time to know you personally, invest in your growth, and support your success every step of the way. No matter where you go on campus, you're bound to see a familiar face. That unique sense of connection and belonging is what makes Baylor so special! Sic 'Em!!

Favorite Place in Waco: Pinewood is my favorite coffee shop in Waco! I love its cozy atmosphere, indoor and outdoor spaces, and bottomless drip coffee. As a student, it's the perfect place to study or catch up with friends. On the weekends, I love wandering the aisles of Fabled Bookshop & Cafe downtown or soaking up the sun at Lake Waco.

What Inspires Me: I'm inspired by the incredible friends and family I get to do life with! They love deeply, give generously, and pursue excellence in all they do. My travels inspire me to celebrate and appreciate diverse cultures, meaningful traditions, and the power of connection through storytelling. Above all, my Christian faith inspires me to love and joyfully serve others each day.

Favorite Hobbies: In my free time, I love being outdoors and spending time in nature - whether it's playing pickleball, taking scenic walks, or enjoying a picnic by the water! I also enjoy traveling, gathering around the table with friends for a good meal, watching movies, and hosting game nights. You'll often find me reading a good book with a cup of tea or exploring Waco's local restaurants and coffee shops.

Fun Facts About Me: I served as a Community Leader in a Baylor freshman residence hall during my undergraduate years and lived on campus all four years. It was such a memorable part of my college experience! Feel free to ask me anything about campus life or what it's like to be a Baylor freshman. Baylor is a big part of my family's story - my younger sister is a Baylor graduate and my brother is a current student!

My Advice to You: 

1) Come visit Baylor’s beautiful campus and talk to current students! During my first campus visit as a prospective student, two Baylor seniors came up to me and asked if they could share all their favorite things about Baylor. Those conversations left a lasting impression and played a significant role in my college decision. Hearing firsthand about the student experience is one of the best ways to discover what sets Baylor apart! 

2) Don't worry if you don't have your major or career path completely figured out before college. Give yourself permission to explore! Take classes that genuinely interest you and stay open to new opportunities. Baylor professors are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what they teach, and you may discover interests and strengths you never expected. 

3) Embrace the journey and make the most of your college experience! College is such an exciting and transformative season of life. Join a student organization, attend campus events and athletic games, and explore all that the Waco community has to offer. Before long, you'll be calling this place home!
