Favorite thing about Baylor: The student to faculty ratio is a large part of what drew me to Baylor! I deeply appreciated having small class sizes with professors who knew my name. I could always count on faculty being available when I needed guidance, and I have been able to stay in contact with several professors years after graduating! 

Favorite place in Waco: Fabled Bookshop & Cafe is my favorite place in Waco! It is the perfect place for bookworms and coffee lovers alike. Nothing beats cracking open a fresh book at Fabled on a rainy day with a latte in hand. As for food, I love trying new foods at the Waco Downtown Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. 

What inspires me: I am inspired by people who help others without expecting anything in return, and I strive to emulate this kindness in all that I do!  

Favorite hobbies: I love hiking the trails at Cameron Park with my two dogs, coffee dates with my husband, reading, and baking! I am on the hunt for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe, and I love to unwind with a funny show at the end of a long day. 

Fun Facts about me: I took advantage of several opportunities to travel as a Baylor student. In just four years I traveled to Taiwan, Malaysia, Italy, and Romania, and I even studied abroad in Salzburg, Austria!  

My advice to you: Do not get caught up comparing yourself to others. You never know the full story of someone’s life, just like they do not know yours! Test scores and school rankings do not determine your value. You are worthy and loved no matter what.
