Hometown: Upland, California
Favorite thing about Baylor: My favorite thing about Baylor is the community. Even after coming from a different part of the U.S., Baylor became my home away from home. The people here are amazing and truly became like my second family.
Favorite place in Waco: McLane Stadium! There's nothing quite like cheering on the Baylor Bears with 44,000 of your best friends on a Saturday.
What inspires me: Seeing the beauty of God's creation inspires me every single day. Seeing the diversity of people and places that He created gets me out of bed in the morning and makes me excited to explore as much as I can.
Favorite hobbies: I love watching (American) football during the fall - I obviously cheer for the Baylor Bears at the collegiate level, as well as the Los Angeles Rams at the professional level. I also really enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy novels in my free time.
Fun facts about me: I am a dual citizen with the United Kingdom and lived there for four years. I was also in the Baylor University Golden Wave Band during my time as a student - it was so much fun!
My advice to you: Don't be afraid to dive into Texas & the U.S. in general - it can be new and scary on the surface, but there's so much good to find beneath the surface. Leaving your comfort zone is so challenging, but the community here will support you and allow that effort to pay off!
