Favorite thing about Baylor: My favorite thing about Baylor is definitely the community! Whether it be professors, mentors, or friends, you will always be surrounded by a group of people that are ready to support you. I also love that I get to share my Baylor experience with some of my favorite people in the world!
Favorite place in Waco: I love supporting all the amazing local businesses in Waco! Waco has so many things to offer, but if I had to I would pick Cha Community, Fabled Bookshop, and Saffron. Cha Community is a local Boba shop that focuses on building community and is owned by Baylor Alum. Fabled Bookshop & Cafe is a bookstore and coffee shop, this is hand down one of the best study spots in Waco. Finally, Saffron is a locally-owned Indian/Pakistani restaurant and a place you should totally check out in Waco!
What inspires me: What inspires me the most is knowing that every person has a different story! This pushes me to get to know people from all walks of life, identities, cultures, and so much more. Knowing that we are all perfectly and uniquely created is a gift and what inspires me to serve others.
Favorite hobbies: I love plants, being creative, reading, and spending time in nature. I have played instruments since I was young and was even a part of the Golden Wave Band at Baylor. There are just so many things that I love!
Fun facts about me: I love plants and I have close to 40 plants!
My advice to you: Believe in yourself and trust that you will end up right where you are meant to be. I know how stressful the college process can be, but know that you are worthy, capable, and valued. Everything will work out, so just enjoy every moment that you can and do not be hard on yourself.
