- Media and Popular Culture in the Arabic-Speaking World
- Spoken Arabic
- Classical Arabic Texts
- Governments and Politics of the Middle East
Many graduates find jobs in journalism, international business and industry, government and foreign service. Others find jobs in translating, interpreting or consulting. A number of students have also gone on to complete graduate studies in similar areas.
Students are encouraged to study abroad. Arabic and Middle East Studies majors have a unique opportunity to study abroad at the American University in Cairo or Al Akhawayn University in Morocco.
Living-Learning Centers are housing opportunities designed to place students of common interests together. The Baylor and Beyond Living-Learning Center is ideal for students interested in language and culture.
