Education Concentration for History Majors
The Education Concentration for History Majors is a minor that leads to a secondary grade level certification (grades 7-12). This minor requires students to complete 31 hours of study including 27 hours of upper-level courses. This program is for students who want to teach History at the Secondary Level, but want to major in History instead of Secondary Education.
Required courses for this minor include Teaching in the Secondary School, Secondary Social Studies Practicum and a School and Classroom Environment, among others.
