Education Concentration for Math Majors

The Education Concentration for Math Majors is a minor that leads to a secondary grade level certification (grades 7-12). This minor requires students to complete 31 hours of study including 27 hours of upper-level courses. This program is for students who want to teach Math at the Secondary Level, but want to major in Math instead of Secondary Education.

Required courses for this minor include Teaching in the Secondary School, Secondary Math Practicum and a Secondary Mathematics Curriculum, among others.
