Leadership in Medicine
The Leadership in Medicine minor is designed for premedical students who wish to be better healthcare practitioners and leaders within the medical profession in the future. Students entering professional healthcare occupations will benefit from increasing their understanding of healthcare to include an understanding of systems thinking, ethics and economics.
As part of the highly selective program, students are required to be enrolled in either the Honors Program or the Business Fellows Program. Students will be required to earn and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA to participate in the minor. Students will be selected to participate in the minor based on interviews and an essay about interest in the program.
