Favorite thing about Baylor: Hands down, my favorite thing about Baylor is the community. Whether it's cheering on the Bears at McLane, sitting next to a family in Waco Hall for Pigskin or talking with students in your classes, you will always find the craziest connections and will never meet a stranger. Baylor is filled with some of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever met, and I have always felt encouraged to become someone I am proud of.
Favorite place in Waco: HTeaO is my all-time favorite place in Waco. They have so many flavors of sweet and unsweet tea to choose from and it’s quick and easy to grab and go walk around campus, picnic at Cameron Park or even watch the sunset at Lake Waco. One of the best places to eat is Union Hall. It’s like a big modern food court in downtown Waco with tons of options to choose from, so everyone in the family can find something they like!
What inspires me: I am constantly inspired by my friends and family. They have taught me what it means to love others well and continuously push me to be better.
Favorite hobbies: I spend a lot of time on the water, so I love to scuba dive, wakeboard and hang out at the beach. I also used to live in Colorado, so I enjoy hiking and snow skiing when I get the chance!
Fun facts about me: My family has a long Baylor history, making me the 33rd member in my family to attend BU.
My advice to you: Don’t stress too much about the college admissions process! You are going to end up right where you are supposed to be. We are here to help you in whatever way we can, so don’t ever be scared to ask questions or share your concerns.
